Bifidobacterium Bifidum is the most common probiotic bacteria in the body and is mostly found in the colon and lower intestines. It is also presented in breast milk and in healthy vaginas. These rod-shaped bacteria live together as a group, in pairs, or alone.
Research has shown that Bifidobacterium Bifidum produces natural antibiotics that fight bad bacteria. It also fights off Candida and other yeast overgrowth in the body. Candida is often associated with low levels of Bifidum in the body. Studies also show that synthetic antibiotics can kill Bacterium Bifidum.
